Clinical Skin Visits

Practical, medically grounded care for common skin concerns — without the overwhelm.

What this is

A Clinical Skin Visit is a longer, focused evaluation for common skin concerns — with a practical plan you can actually follow.

We review your skin concern, history, current routine, medications, sensitivities, habits, barriers, and what has or has not worked before.

When appropriate, I prescribe standard or compounded treatments to keep care effective, simple, and realistic to maintain.

The goal is not a complicated regimen. The goal is a clear plan that makes sense.

What I treat

Acne & Breakouts

Adult acne | Hormonal acne patterns | Clogged pores | Post-inflammatory marks

Pigment & Uneven Tone

Melasma | Sun-related pigment | Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation | Routine planning for pigment-prone skin

Redness & Inflammation

Rosacea | Perioral dermatitis | Sensitive or reactive skin | Seborrheic dermatitis | Facial scaling

Dryness, Irritation & Barrier Problems

Dry or cracking skin | Over-treated skin | Product irritation | “Everything burns” skin

Routine Confusion

Too many products | Not enough consistency | Sunscreen struggles | “I’ve tried everything and don’t know what to do anymore”

How I approach skin care

I focus on treatments that are effective, practical, and sustainable.

That often means combining prescription therapy with a small number of well-chosen over-the-counter products — not building a complicated routine.

Cost and access matter. If a plan is too expensive, too irritating, or too hard to maintain, it will not work.

Skin changes slowly. We adjust over time based on how your skin responds.

A cup of black coffee, a tube of Neutrogena hand cream, and a crumpled sheet of paper with a map and writing are placed on a surface.

What to expect

We review your concern, examine the skin, and discuss contributing factors, treatment options, and realistic next steps.

Initial Clinical Skin Visits are scheduled for 45 minutes.

We review your history, current routine, treatment goals, and what has or has not worked before.

You’ll leave with a clear starting plan. Within 48 hours, you’ll receive a personalized written summary with your recommended routine and products, treatment plan, prescriptions if appropriate, and follow-up timing.

Follow-up is often recommended in 8–12 weeks to reassess, simplify, and adjust.

Pricing

Prescriptions, compounded medications, and products are separate. I consider cost and access when building your plan.

Initial Skin Visit — $200 | Follow-up — $95

Scope and boundaries

Skin Visits focus on common conditions within primary care scope.

I do not evaluate suspicious or changing moles or manage complex dermatologic diseases requiring specialty care.

When needed, I refer to dermatology.
